Welcome to IBC

IBC is dedicated to the cause of world revival. Its teachers are Spirit-filled; its curriculum is Christ-centered; its vision is global. IBC stands for the restoration of power to the Church in these last days. President David W. Cook is continuing the conviction to “spread the gospel” throughout the world by training others. People from around the world have gained Bible knowledge, spiritual equipment and practical training at IBC. Graduates have opened churches in new fields, served as pastors and evangelists or have worked in various phases of Christian service. More than 120 have served in foreign mission fields.

The school was founded as International Bible College in 1944 by Leonard Coote. While visiting San Antonio during World War II, he "became convinced it was the eternal purpose of God to found IBC." In October 1944, International Bible College conducted its first classes. In the early 1950's, the school moved to its current location on 10 acres on top of Hallelujah Hill.

The IBC campus includes an impressive three-story structure with a commanding view of the city. It houses the business and executive offices as well as apartments for community residents.

Central to the campus is the multi-level learning center. The learning center houses the classrooms, gymnasium, library, faculty offices, kitchen and cafeteria. The 300-seat chapel also is located in the learning center. It is where special meetings and International Bible Church services are held.
